Aini and the Soul Bird

Aini meets the mysterious Sielulintu — the Soul Bird from Finnish mythology. In old Finnish beliefs, the Soul Bird protects the human soul, bringing it to the world at birth and carrying it away after death. It is also said to guard the soul during sleep, keeping it safe while it wanders in dreams.
