Echo Heart

Aesop & Agnes, twin kittens from birth, had always been close, their lives nearly mirrors of each other. My goal with this illustration, and others like it, is to create complete stories within a single image, allowing the viewer to read the title and continue the story through their own imagination. The idea is to eventually assemble a picture book of simple tales that take adults or children on a journey of the mind. This illustration was inspired by the Folktale Week art challenge.
